    External chargers, or also called ‘Power Bank’, are available with various capacities ranging from thousands to tens of thousands milliamps (mAh). The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has security regulation for carrying these item on to the airplane as follows
 

  • Power Bank is not allowed in any checked baggage. It is permitted to be in your carry on baggage.
  • Power Bank with capacity under 20,000 mAh is allowed on board with the maximum of 20 pieces.
  • Power Bank with capacity between 20,000-32,000 mAh is allowed on board with the maximum of 2 pieces.
  • Power Bank with capacity larger than 32,000 mAh is not permitted on board.
